The Best Asian Food only at Banana Leaf Asian Cafe

Some friends and I were in Manila just this weekend, enjoying the long break with a bit of quick shopping to shake away some stress and fatigue. We went mall-hopping and strolling throughout the day. And after hours of walk and stroll, we decided to relax our over-worked-out leg muscles. So we took the chair and agreed to have an early dinner at Banana Leaf Asian Cafe inside The Block SM North Edsa. It is a unique restaurant where you get to enjoy eating on a banana leaf instead on plates, as its name implies. They have this wide variety of Asian food which is so sumptuous and very delicious. If you are an Asian food lover you will surely love it here; you can choose from any Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese or Indonesian cuisine.

According to Banana Leaf, they serve signature creations made exclusively with authentic ingredients sourced from the appropriate home countries and developed by a roster of international master chefs that were trained and immersed in true Asian tradition. When it comes to authentic contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine, no one serves it up better than Banana Leaf!

As a food critic, if I were to give an adjective that will best describe this restaurant, I would say "mouth-watering". It's my first time to dine at Banana Leaf and for sure it won't be the last because I will certainly come back to try the other great food that they serve.
