Manny Pacquiao Moments as He Wins Over Miguel Cotto
Congratulations to People's Champ Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao for winning against Puerto Rican Miguel Angel Cotto. It was a blood rushing 12 rounds of fight as Pacquiao took over from rounds two to twelve. Cotto failed to bring down the Pound-for-Pound boxing hero. After overpowering some of the boxing champs, Manny really deserves to be called The Greatest Fighter of All Time.
I salute Cotto as well for being a tough fighter because he was able to survive the Pacman punches up to the last round. However, referee Kenny Bayless had to stop the fight and declared it to be a technical knock-out in favor of Manny. Manny Pacquiao yet again made history by becoming the 1st fighter to win seven world titles in seven weight divisions.
A toast to Manny and to us Filipinos! This is again another reason for the Philippines to celebrate. And after this, the fans are looking forward to his blow by blow match with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Here are some of the highlights of the event courtesy of AFP/Getty Images:
